This past weekend the sun was shining and temperatures climbed into the 60s and 70s *angel chorus* As someone who could live a perfectly happy life never having to experience another winter, I was beyond ecstatic regarding the weather! I could tell my mood was much improved, and I had a renewed excitement about getting ready in the morning. (Nothing is worse than assembling a cute outfit and having to put a giant puffer coat over it! #buzzkill)

As much as I wanted to face the warmer weekend in a sun dress and sandals, the wind sort of made that an impossibility (1. I didn’t want to pull a Marilyn, and 2. It put a bit of a chill in the air) I couldn’t however, resist wearing a tank top. It felt so invigorating to slip the silky, flimsy material over my head and adjust the spaghetti straps on the shoulders I had almost forgotten. In order to make it more weather appropriate, I threw a chambray shirt over my tank top and pulled on some black jeans and booties. Not exactly summer attire, but definitely a huge improvement from my last post!

I can’t wait for the weather to get progressively more spring and summer-like. C’mon warm weather!

Love this outfit, it’s adorable! I’m a huge fan of chambray, it’s a perfect layering piece and perfect for the awkward transitional months!
