OTS Striped Top

“OTS” had no meaning to me whatsoever before this spring and summer when it sort of infiltrated fashion slang and shorthand overnight. “OTS” is an abbreviation for “off the shoulder”, a silhouette and style of clothing which pretty much immediately stole my heart the way Harrison Ford did when I was a wide-eyed child watching him as Indiana Jones for the first time.

There is just something about an off the shoulder top that is not only super cool and comfy, but also very flattering. I think I feel my most confident in tops that really showcase my collar-bone and shoulders, and OTS tops do that really, really well.

This particular navy and white striped version from SheIn has been an outfit staple for me the past couple of weeks. That’s my round about way of saying that I’ve worn it like, 5 of the past 14 days. I can’t help it! I love it. The material is perfect for the scorching summer heat, the color and pattern are super fun, it can easily be dressed up or down, and I feel amazing in it! It checks all my fashion boxes, and the best part? It’s under $15. Yes, you read that correctly.

If you haven’t yet dipped your toes into the deep waters of the OTS trend, this is a perfect option to start your collection!

Thank you so much to SheIn for sending me the top featured in this post, and Courtney Kramer of Woodlander’s Photography for the images.  As always, all opinions are my own.
