Favorite Moments of 2016

Congratulations! We’ve made it through an entire week of the new year. (Is it just me, or does it already feel like it’s flying by!?) I hope 2017 has treated you well so far, but before time passes us by too quickly and we’re 7 months in, I wanted to write a quick post acknowledging my favorite moments from this past year.

Contrary to popular social media opinions, 2016 was actually a really wonderful year, well at least for me, personally. Of course it had its moments; sleepless nights, stressful weeks, bad hair days, health scares, awkward moments, cold shoulder grudges-but overall, I can’t complain. In fact, I can only do quite the opposite. I want to celebrate all the wonderful opportunities and experiences I was fortunate enough to have. I can’t list all the amazing things that happened, but I definitely wanted to highlight my top 10!

I’d also like to remind all of you (without sounding too preachy-preachy) that even though 2016 may not have been perfect, and 2017 certainly won’t be either, there is so much for which to be grateful and thankful. I think the best part of a new year is the idea of a fresh, untarnished slate to make your life, every single day, whatever you want it to be. Things aren’t always happy, but bad times pass, and better ones come, and things sort of go on that way-up and down, then up again. Life is what we make it, and I beg you to make yours whatever you want it be! Now is the time, so make it happen.

Much love to all my family, friends, and co-workers that made 2016 such a wonderful year filled with so many lessons and memories. Here’s to another 365!
