Even since I was a little girl, I dreamt of my wedding, and ever since I was a little girl, there were a few things I always promised myself I wouldn’t be or do when it came to my own wedding. I promised myself I would never to get so stressed out that the planning process wasn’t fun anymore, I promised to never be a bridezilla, and I promised not to pick out ugly bridesmaids dresses.
Now, I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and that makes “ugly” a relative term, but you know what I mean. I promised not to pick neon orange hi-lo dresses with giant bows and rainbow glitter (really hoping such a dress doesn’t actually exist)
I also didn’t want all the dresses to be the exact same. Maybe it’s because I’m a people pleaser or because I like the idea of variety, but I knew I wanted each of my girls to pick a different dress that fit their unique styles. The idea of each bridesmaid being a different dress took off a couple of seasons ago, and I hope it’s a trend that’s here to stay! For one, the girls are more likely to get use out of their dresses in the future, and it also makes for great visual interest in photographs. That being said, I did set some guidelines. The dresses had to be a light blush pink or a champagne color, and they had to be long. Other than that, the choice was up to them! And they picked some stunners!
Take a look!
