H&M x Girl Up Collection

This past week, I received an exciting, and unexpected email, inviting me to model some pieces from H&M’s Fourth of July collection on a local news station. Feeling a bit like a celebrity, (I’ve never been on the news, before!) and knowing I actually had the day off from work (for once!) I of course obliged haha The Collection and the Cause: H&M has teamed up with Girl Up, a UN program developed in 2010 that works to afford women in developing countries equal social, educational, and health benefits. White Ruffle Tulip Dress

If you read yesterday’s post about my bridal shower, then this dress probably looks familiar, because I wore it for that occasion. I was on the hunt for a white dress to wear to my bridal shower, and I stumbled upon this one at Nordstrom. It’s white, it’s v-neck, it has a ruffle at the neckline, it’s under $60, and it’s all around fabulous. Honestly, I’ve never felt more sexy hollywood starlet in my life, and I didn’t mind in the least! (I did have…

Yelton Fine Jewelers x Simon G. Passport for World Travel

This past Friday, I had the pleasure of attending an event, Passport for World Travel with Simon G., at Yelton Fine Jewelers in West Chester, Ohio. I had been a customer of this jeweler before, and was beyond flattered to be invited to a really unique event featuring the amazing designs and pieces of Simon G. Simon G. brought an extensive assortment of gems and jewels from all over the world, and he was kind enough to take the time to navigate me through the collection and his designs. The concept of the event, was to take time to appreciate…

Tips for Shopping Your Own Closet

I’m having a dilemma. It’s a dilemma I have every couple of months or so, especially around the changing of the seasons. You know the one I’m talking about, the dilemma of having a closet full of clothes but nothing to wear! I know, I know, total first world problem, but I can’t be alone in this struggle! I stand in front of my closet, anxiously flip through the hangers, once, twice, frantically for a third time, and ultimately become defeated and convinced I need to get my cloth-less self to…

Striped Turtle Neck and Olive Jacket

In true Cincinnati fashion we’ve experienced all 4 seasons in the span of 2 weeks. Needless to say, this makes outfit planning a bit difficult from day-to-day, so I’ve been relying on some tried and true basics: Turtle neck, leggings, slip-ons, jacket. I got this striped turtle neck from Target this past fall (probably on a trip when I swore that all I needed was shampoo and laundry detergent), and I’ve dressed it up, down, and all around! It looks super cute tucked into a high-waisted skirt paired with heels…
