If eyes are the windows to the soul then eyebrows are the ever important window treatments of the soul. Well-kept brows, in my opinion, make the most dramatic impact on your overall look so I am extremely passionate about making mine look their absolute best every day. That’s probably what made investing in permanent makeup such a no-brainer for me a few years back, and while I highly recommend PMU (especially when done by my girl Erica at Studio Hue) good brow products are still very much a must and work together with permanent makeup to give the best results.
My brow makeup arsenal is small but mighty and made of up 2 products that together give me darker, more shapely brows that stay put all day: The Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Gel. This duo works so well together because together they give the appearance of full, rich pigmented brows. The Brow Wiz is perfect for more precise shaping and filling, while the Dipbrow Gel is great for combing through, darkening, and keeping the tail in place.
My Brow Routine Using These 2 Products: First, I use the brush end of the Brow Wiz pencil to comb through my brows. Next, I use the pencil portion of the Brow Wiz to define and shape the front of my brows (…reminding myself that brows are sisters not twins!) Next, I take the Dipbrow Gel and comb it through the middle and tail of my brows several times. This builds pigment and makes everything look filled and fluffy. And…WA-LA! It’s as easy to achieve picture-perfect brows and confidence through the roof in no time flat! Run don’t walk to your nearest Sephora or Ulta to grab this dynamic brow duo.
